The urn measures 1 3/4" and is light weight, secure, sturdy and discreet. There is an engraved black heart on the front. It will hold a small amount of your pets ashes. It unscrews to reveal the little chamber for the ashes. To get the ashes in the use of a spoon straw or the tip of a sharp knife work great. Once the ashes are inside put it back together and screw the vial into the urn. I advise a few dots of super glue on the threads of the little vial before putting the top back on. There is a rubber gasket on the over to keep the ashes dry and safe.
